Southwest Gas Elko Operations Center

The new Southwest Gas Operations Center is designed to meet the growing needs of the northeastern Nevada community. The 20,277 square foot facility houses offices and administration space, warehouse, truck bays and weld shop. The new truck bays will allow Southwest Gas trucks to be protected from weather and harsh Nevada conditions, so in the event of an emergency, they can respond quickly and safely.
The facility is a ‘symbol’ to Southwest Gas Company’s commitment to Elko and the surrounding community and is designed to accommodate future staff as the company grows to keep up with the demand for services. The new building will allow Elko employees to be more efficient in their jobs since it will have everything in one location. Their current facilities are located in separated leased spaces in downtown Elko that are difficult to access and have inadequate special adjacencies and square footage.
