Lombard Conrad Architects was commissioned for interior design services, including finish selections, furnishings, art, and signage. Special consideration was given to emphasized Canyon County’s culture while holding true to the St. Luke’s brand. Thoughtful interior detailing of materials, specialty lighting, furnishings and locally commissioned art selections further represent the regions railway heritage and agriculturally rich presence. The addition of bilingual wayfinding on signage acknowledges the rich and diverse community the campus serves.
The hospital is an extension of the existing three-level medical office building and emergency department. The new facility houses six Operating Rooms, three Procedure Rooms, a Cardiology, Radiology and Imaging department, Breast Care Services, Respiratory Care and Physical Therapy services, an Intensive Care Unit and a forty-eight patient bed Telemetry and Medical-Surgical Unit, as well as a Newborn Intensive Care Unity and Family Birth Center where mothers will labor, deliver and continue their postpartum stay from the comfort of one room.
