Meridian High School Auditorium Addition

The overarching goal of the new auditorium addition at Meridian High School was to elevate the arts through a building design that, while using many of the same materials as the existing building, creates a new artistic vocabulary through the use of color, texture and juxtaposition massing.

The lobby is open and inviting and will serve as the entrance to the new auditorium and the existing gym.  The house seats roughly 800 persons and provides optimum sight lines to all audience members.  The addition also contains a new band room with practice spaces and a remodel of the previous band room into a choir room.
