Scott A. Wendell

Principal Emeritus

Scott lives and breathes architecture—it’s in his DNA, it’s his way of life. Following in his father’s footsteps, he has built a legacy of his own as a designer and architect, dedicating over 30 years to shaping our firm’s history. One of his many career highlights includes working on the Ada County Courthouse, the region’s first LEED-certified building and a keystone public facility in our community.

Scott’s expertise spans every phase of design, from initial concepts to construction administration. Whether he’s tackling a complex higher education project, a commercial build, or an intricate master plan, he brings precision, creativity, and leadership to the table. His passion for the people he works with and the people who use the buildings he designs shines through in every professional relationship.

His creative and explorative spirit isn’t just reserved for architecture. When his mind takes a break from designing buildings, he draws, paints, experiments with watercolors, and skis.
