Ben Bernier

Sr. Architect

As far as Ben’s background goes, you’d be hard pressed to find anyone like him. Before he was a licensed architect, Ben served as a highly educated, trained, and PREA-certified juvenile corrections officer. This experience brings invaluable perspectives to Lombard/Conrad’s justice projects, namely those in the corrections and detention sectors.

Ben is a highly skilled architect and project manager and is known for his relatable approach and focus on doing what’s best for the cities, counties, and state agencies he works with.

Currently volunteering on the Academy of Architecture for Justice committee, Ben is helping lead a national discussion on rethinking justice facility design in the name of social justice. He is personally committed to making a positive change in the corrections industry.
