Lombard/Conrad Announces Two New Partners
Lombard/Conrad Architects has announced the promotion of Kara Parce and Matthew Geserick to Partner/Principal. In their new roles, Parce and Geserick will take on increased responsibilities in areas of business development, operations, and staff management, all while continuing their senior-level leadership of client projects.
Parce and Geserick join three other principal architects – Alexis Townsend (President), Mark Heazle (Vice President), and Ken Gallegos. The move to invite two new members to join the shareholder group as Partners was unanimously seen as an appropriate next step for the growing firm.
“Our firm has undergone exciting growth and evolution of late. With this growth comes the need for an expanded ownership and leadership team,” Townsend said. “For years, Kara and Matt have demonstrated an unwavering commitment to innovation and quality, as well as the ability to build trust and mutual respect with staff, clients, consultants, contractors, and other industry partners. They both have a natural ability to lead others with authenticity and empathy.”
About Parce
Parce joined Lombard/Conrad 17 years ago after graduating from the University of Idaho with a B.F.A. in Interior Design. Today she is an industry leader and the only designer in Idaho to be recognized as a Certified Healthcare Interior Designer by the American Academy of Healthcare Interior Designers. While healthcare and therapeutic design is her predominant specialty, Parce has also led design on countless civic, public safety, law enforcement, corrections, education, and commercial projects throughout the Northwest region. She is currently the Director of the firm’s 4-person interior design studio, a role she earned in 2021 due to her natural ability to lead employees. Read more about Kara here.
About Geserick
Geserick, also a University of Idaho alum, joined Lombard/Conrad in 2016 following a career stint at an architecture firm in Alaska. He quickly proved his ability to lead large, complex projects with a dedication to quality control and client satisfaction. As one of the firm’s senior architects, Geserick has successfully led several government and non-profit projects, including the award-winning Moscow Police Facility, the Nez Perce County Courthouse (under construction), and several Idaho Central Credit Union branches throughout Idaho and Washington. Clients appreciate Geserick for his commitment to doing things the right way in the name of best serving their needs and the people their facilities serve. Read more about Matt here.
